Dr. Christopher Chappell is the founder and pastor of the Grace Nation Church of Atlanta. . Grace Nation Church of Atlanta has grown from its initial eight members in 2002 to over 2800 members in 21 years. Dr, Chappell and his wife most recently received the notable 2022 NAACP community religious affairs award for their gourmet hot meals programs, their 4 Habitat for Humanity projects, thanksgiving food giveaway and health fair cash giveaway project. Deemed as a modern day Nehemiah by building lives and families and better community. Dr. Chappell has served as a bridge builder between business, government, community, and the church. 2021 Dr.Chappell launched “Jail Cells to Class Rooms”, allowing inmates to experience the opportunity to build their own business. Inmates can now bet on themselves rather than wait on someone else to hire them and reduce recidivism. In August 2019, Dr. Chappell launched the prestigious The Faith Bible Institute, as Founder/President/Chancellor, designed to equip the next generation of faith teachers and kingdom workers, as students can earn their Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors degrees. Dr. Chappell was nominated and received the prestigious 2017 President Barak Obama Presidential Humanitarian Award, that is also catalogued in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C.
