This course will introduction you to the essential skills needed for effective Christian counseling. Students will spend a significant amount of time practicing basic counseling skills through role playing and real-life interactions with critical review by both peers and the instructor.
It will include fundamental vocabulary and skills used in Christian Counseling. This course will also give background knowledge to some of the theories in individual, couples, and family counseling.
Course Goal:
The goal of this course is to helps a person cope with mental or
emotional distress and understand and solve personal problems.
